For this scene I believe King Duncan should be wearing flashy robes or golden armor. He should be displaying that he is king, using his clothes as a way to brag. The clothes can be a sort of foreshadowing. They draw attention to him and make him stand out as superior. Making King Duncan stand out as important will make his death have more impact on the viewer.
